Arch sleeve splice. Each bow is spliced flat on the ground from a 6 m left piece, a 6 m centre piece and a 6 m right piece — 18 m developed. Push the sleeve 150 mm into each tube, screw it, then lift the finished bow. Keep every splice facing the same direction along the house.
Purlin-to-arch clip. All 5 purlin runs are clamped to every bow with a 25 × 50 elliptical connector — 90 clips in total. The ridge run goes on first to set the line of the house. Stagger the purlin splices: never place two joints in the same bay.
Lock channel & wiggle wire. Channels are screwed to every bow at 250 mm and 1 750 mm above grade, joined by splice plates. The shade net locks in directly — no film in this package. Work the wiggle wire from the middle of the house outwards so the net finishes taut.
Ground anchor & lashing. Side pieces drive 500 mm below grade — mark the depth with tape first, then check the row with a string line. Lashing ropes run over the net in every bay down to 50 staggered steel wire anchors. Uneven tension will tear the net.
